Spectre Racing Wins Final Practice At Dover, Heinlein Loosing Dominance

October 17, 2015
Spectre Racing has always been great at Dover International Raceway, their home track, but this weekend they have shown speed like never before.  Christopher Heinlein decided to give a special treat to his team on his final full time weekend by giving up his secret setup for Dover to his entire team.  "Of course each driver had to tweak the setup to adapt it to their personal driving styles but they immediately improved on their personal best lap times for Dover, and just kept getting faster."  Spectre Racing finished out final practice dominating the top five.  Christopher Heinlein however did not take the top spot.  Christopher is known for his dominance at Dover, always having the fastest car each weekend they are there, but after sharing his setup with his team Christopher has lost that special edge.  "With the team being just as fast as I was I had to keep tweaking my setup to try and gain my edge back, to no avail.  The car just kept getting looser on the long run, and that ended up ruining our practice."  Half way through final practice Christopher's car became loose coming out of turn 4 and slid sideways up into the wall at a hard angle, causing the entire right side to become severely damaged, ending his practice short.  Christopher ended practice in 5th place.
